Market Access Manager

• Optimize national, regional and/or local market access of new and launched medicines by tailoring the tools/tactics to local market needs, aligned and coordinated with relevant internal functions for the responsible Therapeutic Areas(TA) • Identify, engage, build and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders, that are needed for the flawless execution of the Market Access Strategies for the responsible Therapeutic Areas(TA) • Monitor healthcare and political environment and competitive landscape to capture events impacting market access of the medicines and advise Head of Market Access on actions to address national, regional and local threats and opportunities • Moreover, the Market Access Manager presents Market Access in the Brand Teams, supports the Head of Market Access to make optimal Business Decisions and feeds relevant market information to the regional Market Access Team

Accountabilities

  • Be the main point of contact for Market Access topics in assigned TA and brand teams;
  • Establish close working relationships with colleagues in the Europe and regional center (Marketing, Medical, Commercial Operations)
  • Tailoring the tools/tactics to local market needs:
    • - Participate in elaboration of MA strategy
    • - Compile optimal P&R dossiers
    • - Tailor value messages and company models to local needs
    • - Manage and ensure appropriate follow-up of P&R procedures
    • - Support Head of MA in risk-sharing agreement negotiations by developing and accessing relevant scenarios/options
  • Prepare and initiate the approval and assessment process for national price setting, price changes including the support of the region and Europe in running the IPR impact analysis
  • Develop scenarios and recommendations taking into account and optimizing the variables: pricing, time to access and volumes.
  • Evaluate and anticipate impact of local policy changes on price developments
  • Identify, engage, build and maintain relationships with relevant external stakeholder (payer bodies, healthcare authorities, political bodies, patient associations, industry associations)
  • focusing on responsible TAs:
    • map relevant external stakeholders and develop/maintain relationships
    • draw up and implement account plans
  • Monitor changes in healthcare environment and competitive landscape and translate into business actions/strategy for responsible TAs
  • Provide relevant input into regional Integrated Brand Plans (IBP) and develop business optimal activity plan for responsible TAs
  • Provide local insights into regional MA Strategy development at the region,  ad-hoc requests for early market access input etc. to ensure that the needs are addressed, e.g. additional analyses of clinical trial data as needed for local P&R submissions, HE&OR data requirements etc. 
  • Responsible for data management and input into LTF process through the appropriate tools, processes
