Job Description  

Position Title:  Product Manager Immuno Belgium

Position Purpose: Provide an overview of the responsibilities of the position by providing a summary of the most important aspects and duties of the position.

  • Develop and steer strategic plans in close collaboration with the business team, based on in depth analyses of the market and in line with the overall Belgian and international strategy

  • Elaborate initiatives to ensure delivery of the tactical marketing strategy in order to achieve commercial success in terms of volume and profitability

  • Bring the brand story to life through innovative, patient-centric marketing campaigns and materials that you will design and implement

  • Lead and develop the digital multichannel marketing strategy by proposing, testing and adapting new channels to reinforce customer interaction and satisfaction

  • Drive, challenge and serve these initiatives as a change agent and role model in Operational Excellence

  • Ensure brand advocates involvement

  • Seek new business opportunities and optimize partnerships in order to develop the total market and market share of our products

  • Work closely together with Market Access Manager

  • Actively support the tender market by providing promotional materials

  • Develop and execute (pre-) marketing activities for new product launch

  • Ensure stakeholder management

  • Monitor and report on effectiveness of marketing activities and promotional budget to enhance culture of excellence

  • Work close together with all other departments to guarantee execution of the strategic plan following the compliance requirements

Role that this position reports to: Marketing Manager

Internal relationships: close collaboration / interaction with other functions: Sales Manager, Key Account Managers,  Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Market Access Manager, Medical Advisor, Finance & Logistics, Customer Service, Data Steward

Roles that reports to this position: Marketing Associate - KAM’s by implementation of Marketing projects

Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities: List the roles and responsibilities of the position (please limit the number of responsibilities to the primary ten.)

  • Prepare, in collaboration with the business team, the local vision on short- and long-term strategy and tactical implementation. Present those plans to the BNL Head of Marketing,  the BNL Management Team and is accountable for sales, profit and market shares achieved.

  • Inspire and motivate all internal stakeholders, especially the KAMs, about the vision, the strategy and the marketing action plan. Make sure that every department takes its responsibility and respects timelines to execute the plan

  • Pro-actively anticipate and manage market changes by analyzing impact of market events, sales performance indicators, public tenders and by collecting customers insights and competitive intelligence. Align strategy and execution of tactical plan with continuously changing environment

  • Develop and reinforce preferred partnerships with key opinion leaders, nurses and patient organizations to gain valuable insights, to engage brand advocates, to bring patient-centric campaigns and multichannel approach alive

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships within the tender market, including hospital pharmacists, hospital financial direction, purchasers and other policy formers in order to optimally develop the portfolio

  • Disseminates a culture of operational excellence by integrating the values into all  marketing campaigns (customer focus, collaboration, superior performance, innovation, integrity)

  • Take accountability for an accurate rolling forecast in collaboration with the Finance Manager in order to guarantee at all moments supply to the clients and to strengthen our image as reliable partner

  • Follow-up of revenue and promotional expenses, combined with analyses on return on investment in order to drive company success

  • Prepares and proposes the positioning and strategy for price and reimbursement of newly registered and existing products. Provides support in the Market Access process, including market analysis, cost analysis, patient segmentation,…

  • Act accordingly the current EU GDP/GMP guidelines and the local Standard Operating Procedures in which he/she is involved

Required profile:

  • Position Qualifications and Experience Requirements:  Provide hiring requirements for the specified position, including educational, experiential, and competency requirements necessary for the position.

  • Education: Scientific Degree is an asset

  • Fluent in Dutch, French and English (spoken and written)

  • German knowledge is considered to be advantageous

Experience & knowledge

  • At least 3 years of  relevant marketing and sales expertise in the healthcare industry. 

  • Successful experiences in Hospital Business and / or Orphan drugs is an additional advantage.

  • Digital marketing understanding and experiences
