As Specialty Care Representative, you are responsible for the sales results and market share growth of the promoted products in your region. You are responsible for the development of your sector plan and ensure the implementation so that your region’s sales targets are achieved. Building a good network with relevant Hospital Specialists in your region is key for success.

Responsibilities

 

  • Represent and promote our products and services to Specialists within a specific geographic region.
  • Build high-level of clinical product and therapeutic disease knowledge.
  • Utilize advanced selling skills to drive depth and breadth of prescribing across customers.
  • Build and extend business relationships with target HCPs and key stakeholders in assigned region.
  • Develop and implement high-quality business plans for your region and initiate required actions to achieve sales objectives.
  • Analyze and review performance of assigned hospitals against business plans to maximize opportunities and take actions to drive sales growth.
  • Proactively seek business opportunities to grow business (set-up meetings with HCPs, active listening in the market to detect needs of HCP’s, …).
  • Actively participate in team and company meetings by sharing insights, sharing of best practices, generating new ideas.
  • Participate productively in symposia and congress events to raise our awareness and identify influential customers/stakeholders to aid the promotion of disease, treatment, and product awareness.
  • Work cooperatively with internal departments (Marketing, Medical, …) and Key Account Manager Specialty Care on various cross-functional projects related to specific accounts or physicians.
  • Take personal ownership for proactively driving own development.

               

Required profile

 

  • Degree qualified, preferably Science/ Applied Science.
  • Sales experience in a specialist disease area with proven track record of excellent sales results. Experience in neurology, rheumatology and/or gastro-enterology is an advantage.
  • Drive to deliver results and excellence in the job.
  • Ability to monitor performance and adapt plans to external and internal changes.
  • High level of understanding of the Belgian healthcare market.
  • Ability to connect and effectively collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Strong verbal communication skills, solid presentation skills and ability to influence others.
  • Enthusiastic and dynamic personality with pro-active approach & positive spirit (focus on solutions rather than problems).
  • Service minded and team player.
  • Proficient knowledge of French and English. Dutch is an added-value.
